When are scholars expected to start their mobility?
All selected scholars (except staff mobilities) have to start their mobility until 31st December 2017 at the latest. For the academic calendars of the partner universities please see the University Information Sheets.
Can I apply to the Avempace + scholarships and other Erasmus Mundus at the same time, or does this disqualify my application
You can apply to all Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects (if you are eligible). It goes without saying that you can receive only one scholarship and will have, in case of being nominated for several scholarship, decide which one to accept.
Field of Study related
Can you send me a list where I can study "MY FIELD OF STUDIES" in "MY PREFERRED LANGUAGE"?
No, we cannot. Please cf. the overview of the fields of studies and check the fields of study lists available from the partner universities webpage.
Host University related
Can I choose any university and then ask you to give me a scholarship to study there, or the universities are selected in advance from your side?
Only the universities that are partnering in Avempace + can be selected as hosting universities for the application.
In cannot find my specialization in the fields of study lists. Where can I find it?
If your specialization is not offered by one of the Avempace + partner universities, please check the associated projects on the links page.
Language Certificates and other Documents
I have not yet received my TOEFL/IELTS/language results and I will not be able to upload it before the deadline of this call. What should I do?
If you do not have all required documents right now, please contact your respective host university. If the host university exceptionally agrees that some documents can be sent after the deadline, this Email conversation should be copied & pasted and uploaded as an explanation, together with any supporting documentation of language proficiency or certificates of local test that you may have already taken. However, you have to submit your results well before the selection meeting mid of March 2017 so that they can be taken into consideration.
Which level of language is required for a scholarship?
This depends on the host university and the kind of scholarship. Please cf. the University Information Sheets.
I have no passport at the moment. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply without having a passport at the moment. Please upload any government issued ID that allows verification of your nationality.
