Aleppo University, Syria
The University of Aleppo was founded in 1946 as University for Civil Engineering and was originally part of the university in Damascus. It is the second eldest university in Syria. Since 1958 the University of Aleppo is independent. University of Aleppo is a public university located in Aleppo, Syria. It is the second largest university in Syria after Damascus University with 137000 students. There are different faculties such as the faculty of humanities, medical sciences, arts, natural sciences, and engineering and today these 27 faculties offer a variety of studies to students.
